October Joy
The first week of October Amy, our oldest daughter came to visit with her sweet husband Kyle. We had a wonderful time of ministry and fun fellowship.
When they arrived, we took them to the University to teach an ethics class. Each student in El Salvador, no matter if they are part of a private of public university, and no matter what their major, is required to take ethics classes. Kyle and Amy taught on the importance of fidelity in marriage. What a timely lesson in any culture! How wonderful to see a young couple so in love with the Lord and committed to His plan for marriage. The students asked many questions, and then we returned to the house for a time of fellowship with leadership from the school... with pupusas of course!

We had a wonderful time at Remar Orphanage, and Kyle preached the afternoon service in Chinameca. His sermon on the Good Samaritan was both challenging and confronting. We also attended a surprise second wedding reception for Amy and Kyle at First Baptist Chinameca with the youth group there. God has truly blessed us with godly brothers and sisters to share memories and fun with. Amy and Kyle shared again to encourage the youth and challenge them to live for Christ. We praise the Lord for the way He used them. Then left too soon.

Bob and I are so proud of Matthew and Amy, our children, and Kyle our newest family member. We look forward to more exciting days ahead in October!
