Radio Estereo Esperanza

Eastern El Salvador is primarily rural; radio is the principle medium of communication and entertainment in many homes. Every family in the east, regardless of their economic status, will generally own a radio.

Through church planting, door-to-door evangelism, outdoor festivals and crusades we have attempted to personally share the Gospel with everyone in Eastern El Salvador, the heartbreaking truth is that we may never be able to personally visit each of the hundreds of towns and villages scattered throughout the east of El Salvador.

In 1999, to more effectively reach these secluded areas, Kendrick Ministries, with underwriting from the Hope Foundation, established the Hope Christian Radio Station. Hope Radio, Radio Estereo Esperanza, is located in Chinameca, but through the placement of its towers, reaches all of Eastern El Salvador with the Gospel 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Our potential listening audience is over 2 million people!

Radio Estereo Esperanza offers inspirational music and a sermon with an invitation every hour. It offers professionally translated programs by Adrian Rogers, David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley, and Luis Palau, as well as live programs and sermons by Bible Institute faculty and graduates.
